Is STEP-IN for me?
STEP-IN is designed primarily for adults (18+) who feel drawn to explore the Christian faith, but aren’t quite sure where they fit. Participants aged 16–17 may attend with parental consent.
If you recognise yourself in one of these three descriptions, then STEP-IN is for you.
Never been baptised
Something has happened — or is happening. Suddenly you’re asking questions you never expected to ask. You find yourself wondering: how do I get baptised? What would that actually mean for my life?
01
Baptised — but that’s where it stopped
You were baptised. But nobody ever told you what came next. You may have attended church on a handful of occasions, but faith was never really part of your world — until now.
STEP-IN can help you prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation — the step that completes what baptism began, and opens the door to a fully active life of faith.
02
Baptised, but not Catholic
You already believe. You have your own tradition. But something about Catholicism keeps drawing your attention — and you can’t quite ignore it. Perhaps you feel called to become Catholic, to be fully received into the Church.
STEP-IN offers a space to explore that honestly, without pressure. For those who are ready, it can be a pathway toward being received into the full communion of the Catholic Church — a step taken freely, when the time is right.
